Hair Mesotherapy

Hair Mesotherapy

Mesotherapy is a preventative hair loss treatment. It is the process of applying pharmaceutical drugs by intradermal injection. It is a form of treatment that can be applied to the hair with certain periods of time in order to stop hair loss, to increase the quality of the existing hair and to activate the new hair follicles.

The selected drug mixtures are administered locally in small doses using special needles with specific techniques intradermally. Mesotherapy is a local treatment method applied to the affected area. The prominent feature of this method is that drugs can obtain effective results and the risk of side effects is minimal.

While Hair Mesotherapy can be done by hand in smaller treatment areas, it is best to use patented DermaPen technology for full scalp treatment. This technology allows for a larger area to be covered in less time, minimizing any discomfort experienced by the patient. Once the area has been treated, the scalp is covered with a special oil blend and the pores are closed to hold some medicine inside. After the mesotherapy, the patient should not wash his hair, soak it and not apply any medication. This rule includes hair care treatments for home use.

How mesotherapy is performed?

Hair mesotherapy is done in sessions. Each session takes about 40 minutes on average.
The first 4 sessions are held once a week, the last 4 sessions are held once every 15 days. The time between sessions should not exceed 11 for the first 4 sessions and 22 days for the last 4 sessions.

A mixture of vitamins, minerals and other pharmaceutical drugs is being prepared. It is beneficial to perform Hair Mesotherapy once in the months of September-October which are the seasonal hair transition months.
